Tryin to start car audio business in detroit area. want to get a feel for how many people might be interested.?
Question: hey, i am looking to get a business going in the detroit area, this includes stereo system sales and installation, custom carpet or fiberglass boxes, exterior modification I.E. shaved door handles and such, remote starts, alarm systems. i havent achieved the big name status yet, but im looking to see how many would be interested in goin through someone who knows what theyre doing instead of garbage places like best buy and abc warehouse who sell known names, but garbage products and shotty installs. thanks for the input, all is welcome!
Answers: personally I don't like all that boom box stuff but there are a lot of kids out there that do and I think you probably could do alright for yourself in the Detroit area if you could compete price wise with Best Buy.
i love car audio places. there's a few here in cincinnati and i love going to em. just talking to ppl and lookin through their stuff. i'd get installs by them if i could afford it and didnt like doing it on my own so much. in a place like detroit i'm sure you'd draw a crowd no doubt.
