Please read this if you're asking a wiring question and to those who have already asked.??
Question: If you are posting about...
I have 'X' amplifier, with 'Y' number of 'Z' subs, how do I wire them, what are my options, or how do I get the most out of them, please follow these guidelines.
1) We need to know your Amplifier Make, and Model, and a link to the Manufacturers Website and Manual if you have one.
2) We need to know the type of Driver (Speaker), Make, and Model and a link to the Manufacturers Website and Manual if you have one. If you are posting about box construction issues, please specify Thiele-Small Specifications if you have them, IE: VAS, QTS, QES, QMS, and FS are the essentials. LE, RE, Xmax, SD, BL, and others are good to have, but not necessary. It may be possible to find these if you provided the Make and Model.
3) The more you specify, the easier it will be to help you troubleshoot. Supply everything you can, when people guess gear gets fried.
4) You can add details to a question that has already been asked, do not bombard us. Helps us help you.
Answers: Spot on!!!
How about just supplying the full specs of all equipment?
If your only giving partial information, be aware of those who tell you what to do or how to wire as these people are only guessing and you could wind up with personal injury or equipment damage.
ALWAYS, ALWAYS, ALWAYS research ANY answer you get, even from Vandel, jparkdzg, balplaya4404, metallman56, John Doe, navymn78, Eric H, Don A, MLJ, puresplprix, Ricky, HiAmp, and myself as we all make mistakes from time to time.
These are the people I consider to be top notch in this section of Yahoo! Answers. Sorry if I forgot one or two of you, you know who you are.
