only you can answer that for yourself
Not sure if you're asking about where to buy, or what brand to get.

Where to buy: If you want to get some high quality stuff and install it yourself, I suggest www.crutchfield.com - they have decent prices, a good selection, and more importantly, they are really good at telling you what will/won't fit in your vehicle and they have installation guides for a lot of different vehciles.

What to buy: Buy what sounds good to you and fits your budget. I am one of those people who can't distinguish sound quality beyond a certain point, so it's a waste of money for me to buy the really high end stuff any way. If you're like that, buy what you like.
For crispy, clean clarity - Infinity all the way

For boom boom, pow pow - pioneer, rockford, jl audio, alpine

kicker sucks

I would suggest some good replacement midrange speakers. I would buy the best tweaters that you can afford. You will need amplifiers for your midrange/tweeter setup and a seperate amplifieer for your subwoofer setup if you are looking for that extra bass. The most important part of your system would have to be the head unit/receiver. Make sure you get a receiver that has all the options that you would want. Examples include satalite radio ready, mp3 cd, and a very good EQ.
