I need someone who's good with speakers or electrical $H!T.??

Question: My back two dish style subs are now both blown. I didn't have an amp, and now they're blown and I don't have any bass. I can't take that! I was told that you could cut some wires and switch them around, and hot glue them back in place and hot glue everything else back in place and I could get them working like new again. Is there something like that I could do or do I have to get new subs?
Answers: I'm a little confused. What are you considering a dish style sub? And how were they being played if you didn't have an amplifier? Basically, if your speaker's voice coils are burnt out, then theres nothing you can do but buy new subs. If you tore the cone or surround, then you might be able to repair it using some type of rubbery glue or epoxy depending on the size of the rips.
they can be temp repaired but will not be the same..
I would rather listen to no bass than listen to the crap that will come out of them if you try to repair them that way.
you can but i wouldent unless ya are ok with them not sounding verry good or ya have done it before
buy new speakers and an amp
