Is there anyone out there who has a Type-R Alpine 15'' 4OHM subwoofer??

Question: If so what kind of amp are you running and how much RMS is it?
Is it true that the subwoofer can handle a little more power (RMS) then what they say?
Answers: I dont have one but here are the specs

15 Kevlar Reinforced Pulp Cone
Cast Aluminum Frame
Integrated Perimeter Venting and Heat Transfer Plate
Rubber surround
Frequency response 22 Hz - 500 Hz
Dual 4 Ohmn Voice Coils
Recommended power range 750 watts RMS
2000 Watts Peak
Top-mount depth 9-5/8
2 Progressive Nomex Spiders with Reinforced Tinsel Leads
Compound Radius Curve Motor Structure
Multi-Stage Thermal Management System
HAMR Surround and Concealed Mount Gasket
Aluminum Airflow Motor Cover
Insert Push Terminals with One-sided Layout

You can type in Alpine Type R 15 in any search engines and get results/specs.
you can either run the sub at 1 ohm,2ohm,4ohms,or 8 ohms depending on which model sub you get.Alpine Type R's are all dual 2 ohm voicecoil or 4 ohm voicecoil.Giving that info,as long as amp is rated at 750rms and you run the amp at the same ohm load as the sub.I would use a class D mono amplifier that is CEA-2006 compliant....Kicker,Alpine,soundstream are good starts
