Am I the only one who likes analog audio??
Question: I want nothing to do with digital audio. All my equipment is top-quality vacuum-tube stuff from the sixties. I think the quality of sound reproduction it gives me is superb. I have never owned a CD player, and have only a vague idea of what an iPod is. My friends think I'm a little nuts. Am I?
Answers: No... but digital is convenient so we all compromise sound quality. Most younger people have never heard good sound so they don't know what it is.
As the generations pass good sound will be lost forever and before you know it the machines will take over and make us their slaves. Oh crap it already happened... I gotta go upload my windows updates and defrag my hard drive now, and maintain my car, and pay my best buy bill and pay my ever increasing energy bill... scan for viruses... recharge my batteries... fill the dishwasher... change over the laundry... Take it from me your not crazy! ... scan for viruses... reset my passwords... download more updates... reload my ipod... convert to .avi... update my firmwares... fix the furnace...
