How do you call the people who connect your stereo ampssubwoofers in the car...what is their proffesion called?
Answers: MECP is just a certificate. You should check out the work and inquire about the warranties whether they are MECP certified or not.
I have met a few bronze level certified installers that were dumber than rocks, and they let the title go to their heads.
If you are looking to become a car audio installer, think it over carefully. Car audio is a tough business right now. It would be very difficult to get into a shop. It is a cool side job or part time job, but don't expect it to pay the bills unless you are doing some high dollar custom work on commission.
