Any one own a 2002 Malibu???
Question: If so what do you think of it. We have the option of buying one for $4500. It has 145000 kms on it. We know the person who is selling it, it is a retired man who how has kept the car fully mantained. He was going to trade it in and the dealership offered him $4500 because of the KMS so he will sell for the same. Anyone know much about this kind of car or how much they are worth? Any feed back would be great.

Answers: I had a 2000 Malibu with a 3.1L V6. Was a good car, worth about $5000 at 74000 miles. Don't know if this will help. With the V6 they are good, would not buy if it has the 4 cylinder, those engines are basically junk.
kelly blue book price is 3800 low and 4600 hi
You won't do much better for $4500 so buy the car and keep up on the maintenance.
