Do you have a problem with Chevy commercials??

Question: I like Chevy commercials even though I've never owned one.

I like the song This is Our Country .

I can't believe how people find racism in just about everything.

In advertising, the goal is to target the group of people who buy your product. Jack and Jill white six-pack buy Chevy trucks.

If the product is to prevent osteoporosis, we don't say the commercial discriminates against young people.

If the product is to keep a baby's bottom dry, we don't say the commercial discriminates against old people.

There is a Bacardi commercial with gorgeous black people. Any whites in the ad are pretty well tanned. My pasty white face wouldn't work in that ad. But I don't take offense. I wish I could be in that cool crowd, but I don't qualify and that's ok.
Answers: Haha, I hear you. I would never buy a Chevy, the ads don't appeal to me, seems like its working. ;)
i agree, i think chevy commercials are works of art at times, they are directing ther truck to a target market its not like they are shouting racism in there commercial.
I don't have a problem with them. I agree that some people do take things way out of context and cry racism every chance they get. But those people will always exist and I don't think that they represent a large portion of the population.
How about the guy in California that ran a ad in Spanish.

Hoping to boost the spanish sales in that area.

A lot of peopl egot pissed when they seen it - and are protesting him.

He also said that sales were the best after that ad.
The only Chevy ad I ever had a problem with was about two or three years ago they ran an ad with a picture of a 1969 Camaro and a slogan saying we'll be there like it's some kind of sick joke.

For all of you who don't get why I am complaining, the Camaro was axed about 2 years before the ad was printed.
I have a problem with most commercials by General Motors, because they don't tell you anything about the car. It's usually a sexy girl or sexy guy walking around, flashy speeds and images, but nothing pertinent about the car. It's no wonder most of us don't want their cars; that, in addition to other reasons.
