I want an 88 Monte Carlo SS with T-Tops!!!!!!!!!??
Question: I live in San Lorenzo CA (in the bay area) and i am lookin for my dream car. its an 88 ss with t-tops, grey interior, floor shifter with buckets, and all the options. its so hard to find it with this combination out here. ive looked at other states and they do come out, but its too far! i will buy one in any condition it just haves to have a clean title! i already have an 88 ss, but without the t-tops which i want the most. If anybody knows of someone who is tryin to sell theirs or seen one on the street or dealer or watever, please let me know!!!!!!!as long as it got t-tops and its an 88 its all good! thank you!!!!

This is way too weird. My buddie just bought one just like this. Keep your patience. He only paid 1700 and it's all there. Needs very little work. I don't think he'll sell but I'll ask.

To the person that said a 80's Monte is a piece of sh*t....you so don't know what you are talking about moron. The rear drive 80's mid-size platforms were some of the best cars GM ever produced. Also the only cars that were never rebated in order to move them off the dealer's lots. Check your facts before you make a stupid statement like that. Good luck on finding an '88 Monte...they quit making all rear drive Monte Carlo's in Arlington, Texas on January 11th of that year...1988. I had an '87 with T-tops and loved it. Got wrecked in a testosterone induced macho event...grrrrr!
To the one that said they are a piece of ****, maybe you never owned or drove one of these cars. The rear wheel drive SS models are AWESOME!! We just sold my husband's 86 SS with T-tops, it was beat to ****, with a busted windshield, rough body and trashed interior, and the people were beating down the doors with offers. To you who asked the question, good luck finding one. We really liked this car, but we needed a new truck so we sold ours. Even in the condition it was in, the car still brought $4000 with a good 350 engine in it. You have made a wise choice in cars!!
