Question: I haven't gotten it running and I am itching to know of similar applications for 1/4 mile, horsepower, gas mileage, etc.., With long headers dual exhaust. I would just like to hear from someone who could give me an idea of what has resulted.
Answers: Use an Edelbrock Peformer 600 CFM Carb, it'll work great with your manifold and cam. www.summitracing.com Part number EDL-1406 $259.95
14.5 seconds in the 1/4 mile if you can get some traction
Just one question? why on earth did you put all these money in a 305? Just about the same specs in a 350 bored 30 over, 9-1 pistons, shaved and balanced rods, 308 gears in an 85 Chevy 1/2 ton 2 wheel drive, headers, glasspacs, runs 11's on 1/4, gets 12 miles to the gallon, (all with mud grips) and runs around 290-325 horsepower.
