If you catch a bus regularly: do you arrive at the stop nice and early...??
Question: or are you the one who is always late and misses the bus?
I tend to be nice and early (I arrive at the stop 10-15 mins before if I can) although I know buses are never on time :=)
Answers: Depends, if it's a frequent bus service, then it doesn't really matter as if you miss it's 10 minutes or so till the next one. If it's hourly, then you want to get there about 5 minutes before it's due in case of early running.
If you a catching a bus towards the end of a long route, then you'll probably want to get there even earlier, as these days bus timetables are made with time for congestion built in. So if the bus gets a clear run on the long route, there's more chance of it being early.
Also, if your bus stop is at the end of a fast road, then get there earlier than usual, because if the bus gets some speed up - then it'll go past you as you approach the stop.
And of course, if your trip is essential and really important, you need to get there about 10 minutes early just in case - no matter how cold it is!!
it's a good habit to get at the bus stop before the bus comes they can come early or late so it's good to be safe you don't want to have to wait for another bus i heard the buses are cutting back so you might want to call them and find out wants going on
It depends on bus service, if it's good you'd still better be at least 3 mins before bus comes(according to the schedule).
P.S. I always miss buses!
If you Don't want to miss the bus [literally] you better be there one or 2 minutes before. 15 and 20 minutes may give you a chance to catch the earlier bus!!
If the bus service is unreliable and the driver might reach a particular stop before time and also leave then 15 mts may be a safer bet.
I would catch the bus at the terminal. I made sure I got there at least 15 minutes early. This way, I knew I'd get the bus on time, and I'd be one of the first ones there to get a seat.
I usually arrive a few minutes late, standing there wondering why I missed the bus...
