Why cant you drivers drive on about 12 inches of pavement? us bike riders have to ride on 1 in. of pavement??

Question: im a bike rider who leaves on a road that dont have a shoulder and i have noticed that you driver cant drive between the median and the white line without getting mad at me i had to pull of the side of the road and do like 1 mile an hour and u drivers still would not pass me so evently i had to stop. i think you drivers should give us some respect after all we gotta use the same road for the same purposes you do.
Answers: im both. its nerve recking to be controling 2 tons of metal and having a casual rider just hum dee dumming right along side you.
you only have 2 wheels to work on..

we as drivers have 4 and not to mentioned that we have to be really careful we don't kill anyone with our mobile machine..unlike you,, you have the chance to pass who ever you feel like it...you have a small and thin machine....to work with..
The first thing I would suggest is finding a safer alterate route for biking on. Your safety is the most important thing you need to worry about.

As far as fixing your problem, talk to you local city/county about installing a bike lane along your route. That way, you can fix the problem, making it safer for you to ride, and drivers to drive. WIn win for everyone.
