What is the best truck to tow a 15000lb. 5th wheel travel trailer??

Answers: I would say any the new F450 would be a nice option, or any of the recreational semi trucks would do the job nicely!
3500 Dodge Dually ext. cab
The make doesn't matter just what you have for suspension, Transmission, Engine/turbo...Make sure you get a transmission that is capable of towing this wieght. Stock transmissions will just giveout a few years down the road. Gas or Diesel
Be sure your transmission is heavy duty to withstand this amount of hauling wear.
Such as a Heavy Duty Clutch (if you get a Manual), Bigger Input/output shaft, etc. but yet this will cost lots of money.
If it were me I would pick a GMC 2500 or 3500 HD.
06 model year mind you the duramax engines have come a long way plus the allison trans is nearly indestructible and all heavy duty models come with beefy dana axles. Ford and dodge also make fine heavy duty trucks if your not buying a new truck I guess I would go with a ford f-250/350 W/the powerstroke engine. The older duramax engines had problems with head gaskets 17:1 compression and aluminum heads dont mix. Hope this helps
