How can They Get Away With it in Los Angeles? Who Do I report This To??
Question: I know 2 neighbors who have brand new cars and it's been over 4 months and no license plates or registration papers on the front windshield. How can they drive like this without proof. They could get away with accidents (hit and run), or pass a light that does the photographing for tickets, and get away with it.
I am a law abiding citizen, have registration, insurance and just wonder how others get away with it.
DMV says over 3 months no plates is extreme.
Answers: they just dont put the plates on when they recieve them. for that purpose.
cops cant tell off hand by looking at the paper plates, when the car was bought. they will just have to get caught and show the registration to the cops. then they will make them put it on.
i personally think.... mind ur business.
as long as you are doing your part, why do you care if your neighbors dont!?
how about reporting it to the police
yeah---the local law enforcement
