Who will help me decide whether to blow my wrecked car up for insurance money??
Answers: Who will help you defraud an insurance company? I would hope no one, but you never know.
If it's wrecked, and not your fault it's wrecked, and the person who wrecked it has coverage, you will already get compensation from insurance for your losses, and you wouldn't have to exaggerate the losses to get it.
You don't give a lot of background on this so..... Remember if you set it on fire ( I'm assuming you don't really have the means to blow it up.) you'll have to worry about witnesses. Even rural areas have nosy busybodies that like to be all up in your pudding. Even if you report it stolen before you do it, the cops will look HARD at you. Can you stand up to their scrutiny? Will you crack? What about the friend that drives you away from the scene who worries that someone got her/his licence #. You can't do it alone and if more than 1 person knows a secret then it's no longer much of a secret especially when they're drunk and bragging. It sure is nice to think about it though, I know I have.

Yea why would you want to commit insurance fraud? If your vehicle is that big of a sled then why not try and get rid of it via legal means? Sell it, trade it, give it away as a charitable donation anything but risk jail time.

Well, unless you enjoy wearing orange jumpsuits and living with other women for four years I would suggest you don't attempt insurance fraud. Insurance companies take this VERY seriously.
Blowing it up is not a recommended way to get insurance money, however it can get you admission to a nice cosy place where you will meet a lot of new friends, and be given 3 meals a day. If you drop your soap in the shower they will become close friends. (don't eat the bananas)
