Vandelism to employee property on company property who is liable??

Question: vandelism occurred to my vehicle on my employer property while at work, who is responsible for the damages. my vehicle was uninsured.
Answers: In my own humble opinion I would say if your employer owns the property then it is their responsibility. If they lease the property then it should be the property owner. However, in my own personal experience they say call the police, fill out a report and call your insurance company. The damages to those people's cars wasn't extensive so it wasn't worth looking into. It will probably vary by state. Check your state or county laws and see what you find. I don't know either so I can't assist in the search.
uh, yours? Nice way to try to blame someone else for your poor decision (no insurance.) Its not like your employer did anything negligent... that could have happened anywhere. So, unless you can track down who vandalized your car and sue them... your screwed.
The person that performed the vandalism is the one responsible. Going after your employer makes no sense and is dishonorable.

Your employer would need to have done something negligent for it to be their fault. Off the top of my head, I can't think of any scenario that this would be true short of their running a chop shop out of the back warehouse.

It's your risk not having the appropriate insurance on the vehicle. I think you're out of luck.
The person who did the vandalism would be responsible and liable. And of course you should not be driving an uninsured vehicle.
The same thing happened to me. I filed a claim through my auto company. Since you don't have insurance, I think you will have to foot the bill yourself. I don't think your employer is liable for this.
Unfortunately, your employer is not responsible. They did not take possession of your vehicle when you parked it in their lot. You still had the keys correct? You will be responsible for the damages if you want to get them fixed. It is no different than if your car was parked in a mall parking lot and was hit while parked, if there are no witnesses, and no one else to pursue, your pretty much screwed. You should consider getting insurance - it's illegal not to have it.
