If you get hit in a car chase who pays for your car??

Question: Your driveing down the rode and you look up in your morre too see a car comeing up on you. It flys right by you and then you got cops comeing up too. You get hit by the fris car then you get hit by a cop. Who pay for your car and your medcle bills?
Answers: Your insurer (providing you have insurance). Insurance does NOT cover someone in the act of commiting a crime, like running from the police. Call your company ASAP.
call your insurance agent
If you look in your mirror and see red and blue, or red, or blue lights, you are supposed to pull over, get out of the way, and stop until it's clear to go again. If you stayed in the road and were hit, you failed to yield to an emergency vehicle, and it's your fault. If you have collision your car is paid for, and you are responsible for any damage you caused to the police car. Your medical bills may be covered by your medical insurance on your policy, check with your agent. Did you get the ticket for failing to yield also?
You. Your collision, and your medical payments/health insurance.

With governmental immunity laws, if the police car hits you, they're responsible only for your collision deductible. Any other vehicle that hits you - like the bad guy's car, well, his policy doesn't pay while the vehicle is being used committing a crime. And most likely it's stolen, anyway.

So just like a hit & run . . .if you want to be protected , take care of it yourself. Don't depend on the other guy to take care of you FOR you.
